Our take
I picked up these two Tommy Armour irons to fill out my vintage set. The 8 and 9 irons have graphite shafts, which is rare for that era. The regular flex feels smooth, and the blade heads give good feedback. For $30, it's a bargain. The lofts are 40° and 44°, which blend well with modern wedges. The graphite shafts reduce vibration, making them comfortable. However, they are just two clubs, so you'll need others to complete a set. The condition is good for their age. If you're building a retro bag, these are a great start.
